BREAKING NEWS: Bye-bye: “Outstanding” Rangers player now set to quit Ibrox with eyes on big deal – report
At the conclusion of the season, one Rangers player is apparently eager to leave Ibrox, and he
can actually arrange his next move now.
Rangers January transfer window
Three new players were added to the Rangers roster on loan during Philippe Clement’s first transfer window as manager.
Sam Lammers, Jose Cifuentes, and Adam Devine left on loan until the end of the season, while Oscar Cortes, Fabio Silva, and
Mohamed Diomande came from Wolves, Nordsjaelland, and Lens, respectively. When speaking about the club’s operations last
month, Clement appeared to be in a good mood. He said:
next four months, it’s virtually a sprint now that we know the composition of the team.
In order to restore balance to the team, we made a few adjustments. We also brought in some young, gifted players who can improve
their skills here, add value to the team, and potentially increase revenue in the future.
It’s not the primary objective; rather, achieving success with a sound company plan is.
Rangers, who won the League Cup, are currently challenging Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership. They are also still in the
Scottish Cup and the Europa League.
Even if the last few months of the season appear to be hectic, one player appears to be planning to leave Glasgow.
Borna Barisic transfer update
Borna Barisic, a left-back, is expected to depart Ibrox for free at the end of the current campaign and already seems to have his sights
set on a “bigger deal” abroad, according to Football Insider within the last 48 hours.
Borna Barisic, a left back for the Rangers, is prepared to leave the team this summer when his contract expires, sources have told
Football Insider. The 31-year-old is now hoping to take advantage of his situation as a free agent during the off-season because his
contract expires in May. Barisic knows that if he leaves Ibrox for free, he can receive a better deal somewhere else.
Barisic has been at Rangers since 2018 and enjoyed plenty of success at Ibrox, but it looks as if his days in Scotland are now numbered.
left-back and he is used to these high-pressure games. He was outstanding last night.”The personnel and those in the dressing room hold him in the highest regard.”
“Borna has been consistently our strongest player over the last few weeks,
so I think he [Yilmaz] was getting fit,” Beale remarked last year.
Since Ridvan Yilmaz is now Clement’s first choice and there are still ties to left-back Jefte,
losing Barisic might not spell disaster for Rangers.
