Ibrox Exclusive: Rangers player’s value has rocketed by £15m in just months

Rangers’ goalkeeper Jack Butland is worth roughly £10-15 million, according to Football Insider.

Butland, 30, is thriving at Ibrox after signing on a free transfer from Crystal Palace last summer (2023).

The shot-stopper is said to be in line for an England return,

which would be a significant step forward in his career after his last cap in 2018.

Butland’s potential involvement with Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions might re-establish him on the Premier League radar.

Rangers are reportedly looking for bids of £10-15 million to sell the goalkeeper,

which would represent a significant profit following his free transfer arrival.

Rangers are eyeing a massive Butland profit with England’s recall coming.

A reliable source has told Football Insider that Birmingham City were interested in Butland during Wayne Rooney’s stint at St Andrew’s,

but they were never close to challenging that price.

Rangers want to keep the nine-cap England international at Ibrox but may contemplate selling if the asking price is met.

The Gers understand Butland may make the difference in any Champions League qualification campaign if they finish second in the Scottish Premiership.

He has made 39 appearances in all competitions for the Glasgow giants this season,

maintaining 20 clean sheets and conceding 29 goals. The goalkeeper’s contract with Ibrox continues until June 2027.

Rangers are three points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership,

having a game in hand over the Parkhead club.

Spurs have offered the Serie A club an initial £21.5 million for the Romanian international,

with a further £4.3 million in add-ons.

If a formal agreement is reached, both players could join Tottenham within the next 48 hours,

marking an impressively nimble start to the January window for the club.

Dragusin is ready to pack his bags and join Werner to London for what will most likely be a medical as soon as a final agreement is reached.
