Thiago Motta, giocatore della Juventus, è “spettacolare” e mercoledì potrebbe creare non pochi problemi al Manchester City.
Specifically, following on from Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at
Selhurst Park in the Premier League, City travel to Turin to take on Juventus for
their latest Champions League tie.Pep Guardiola’s side head into this game off the back of a mixed run of form.
After drawing 3-3 with Feyenoord at the Etihad Stadium in their previous European outing,
the Blues have picked up a defeat, a win and a draw in their three most recent matches.
From the Italian club’s side of things, Thiago Motta’s side haven’t lost a game since their
1-0 defeat to Stuttgart back in October, but have only won two of their nine matches across all competitions since then.
With Wednesday’s big tie in mind between City and Juventus –
who were recently drawn in the same group for the upcoming Club World Cup –
one particular figure at the Serie A side could end up being a thorn in the Manchester club’s side.
Appearing in all 20 of Juventus’ matches this season across Serie A and the
Champions League -starting 16 of them – Kenan Yildiz has shown not only how
important he is for the club but also how much of a dangerous player he is.
With four goals and three assists to his name this season, one of those goals were
described as “spectacular” (via Il Bianconero) by former Juventus striker Alessandro
Del Piero – who knows a thing or two about scoring goals.
Yildiz could be a problem for Kyle Walker
Juventus’s Yildiz has predominantly featured on the left wing this season.
If he starts there on Wednesday, he could face Kyle Walker.
