I am aware that as astute Cleveland Browns fans, we have learned to depend on credentialed news organizations with a strong journalistic background to give us up-to-date Cleveland Browns news on a daily basis. A smaller network of fan blogs and news aggregators exists, whereby they find content on Twitter or other platforms, republish it in digestible portions, and then profit from gullible readers on Google, Yahoo, or other platforms. This is all fine and good; it’s a healthy cycle of recycling and obtaining news from a busy web of many quality sources.

At the OBR, we’re just attempting to find a place within this framework, creating content that sets us apart from the competition while also keeping our readers up to date on the latest online news. However, there are moments when you look at the morning news feeds from the major websites and find almost nothing of interest. This can be disheartening.
