Dwight McNeil said that the meeting that Sean Dyche requested at Everton is a positive move.

McNeil revealed before the United clash that Dyche called for a meeting and what

they discussed is at least a step in the right direction.

Dyche has been urging his team to improve going forward.

“I think defensively, we’ve been good,” McNeil told Everton’s club channel.

“We had a meeting this week on how we can turn the draws into wins, and for us,

we know where we need to improve and that’s going forward.”

That clearly wasn’t on display against United but clearly, it’s a positive that

Dyche accepts that his side haven’t been up to par going forward.

Perhaps he’ll change the system on Wednesday to shape up in a more attacking way.
