The Death of Michael Gerard Tyson, American greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. “I asked the doctor if I’m going to die, and she didn’t say no.
Tyson stated, “I was training, and I was doing great,” according to New York Magazine. “Then, suddenly,
I started feeling fatigued and told my trainer, ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with me.'”
Tyson’s condition worsened while flying to Texas for the fight.
Coming here from Miami on the plane, I went to the toilet, and I threw up blood, next thing I know, I’m on the floor and I was defecating tar’, Tyson told the crowd.
“So, I got here [to the hospital], and they discovered I had a two-and-a-half-inch ulcer that was bleeding. All of my pals called me as if I were dying.
“I asked the doctor if I was going to die, and she didn’t say no; she said, ‘We have options, though,’ and that made me nervous. I can’t wait to get out of this, guy; I want to fight and return to training.”
Mike Tyson: ‘I almost died’
Tyson said he needed several blood transfusions because to his ulcer.
“The doctor told me I had lost half my blood. “I almost died,” Tyson explained.
“I dropped 25 pounds in 11 days. Could not eat. Only liquids. Every time I went to the loo, it smelt like asphalt. It didn’t even smell like s— anymore. “It was disgusting.”
