Lawrence Shankland, a target for the

contract’speaks volumes’
Lawrence Shankland, a striker for
Hearts, has drawn interest from Rangers,
and it’s possible he will leave the team
soon.
Journalist Dean Jones told GIVEMESPORT
that although Rangers have expressed
interest in signing Hearts striker
Lawrence Shankland, the player is still
free to sign with another team or pursue
a career transfer.
After progressing through the later
stages of the Europa League, Phillipe
Clement has had a good start to his time
at Glasgow, with the goal of challenging
for the Scottish Premiership title by the
end of the 2023–2024 season.
Rangers, on the other hand, were largely
quiet throughout the winter transfer
window of 2024, but they’ll probably
launch a strong summertime push.
Rangers, who are closing in on rivals
Celtic in the title battle, are rumored to
be interested in Shankland, one of the
Scottish Premiership’s standout
performances. If Clement’s team wins
their remaining match, they could take
the lead in the league.

Rangers expressing curiosity
about Shankland
Shankland, who has scored 17 goals so
far this season in the Scottish
Premiership, is presently leading the
division in goals scored. He has been
playing well this season. Naturally, other
teams are beginning to take notice of the
prolific striker, and Shankland recently
spoke about his future after choosing to
stay at Hearts during the January
transfer window…
“Yes, Hearts supporters are definitely not
doing too much better here, as he hasn’t
signed a new deal and there will likely be
further rumors that he will try to sign
with another team. I was not promised
that he would stay in Hearts, not even
during the window’s last hours. That
probably says a lot about the direction
this guy’s career is going to go in the
future.”
The Rangers’ January schedule
Following his underwhelming
performance at Wolverhampton
Wanderers, Clement took a chance and
signed Fabio Silva for the remainder of
the season. The 21-year-old has made
five appearances for the Scottish club,
tallying one goal.
By adding Mohamed Diomande from FC
Nordsjaelland in Denmark, Clement not
only increased his midfield options but
also bolstered his squad. According to
Sky Sports, Rangers is poised to pay a fee
surpassing £4.3 million for the promising
22-year-old, even if the transaction
contains an obligation to buy. The player
was initially on loan.
