Can Lazio Withstand Bologna Following their win over Roma? Lazio Legend – Report

Lazio prepare to face Monza in their upcoming Serie A clash, manager Marco Baroni finds himself with a wealth of options at his disposal. The recent return of Manuel Lazzari from injury and the availability of Tijjani Noslin after serving a UEFA suspension have bolstered the squad, giving Baroni the luxury of rotation amidst a demanding schedule.

While Gaetano Castrovilli remains sidelined until 2025, the rest of the squad appears to be in good health. This favorable situation allows Baroni to consider tactical adjustments and personnel changes as Lazio continues to compete on both domestic and European fronts.

One player who could see increased involvement is Boulaye Dia. The Senegalese forward has been in impressive form recently, contributing to three goals in his last two Serie A appearances. His tally of four league goals this season has already matched his entire output from the previous campaign, making him a strong candidate for a starting role.

On the opposing side, Monza will be looking to their own ex-Salernitana striker, Milan Djuric, to make an impact. Djuric, who coincidentally made his Serie A debut against Lazio in 2014, scored twice in this fixture last season. He is expected to lead the line for the hosts, supported by Daniel Maldini and potentially Dany Mota, though Gianluca Caprari and Samuele Vignato provide additional options in attack.

Monza, however, are grappling with a significant injury list. Alessio Cragno, Omari Forson, Stefano Sensi, and Roberto Gagliardini are all confirmed absentees, with Andrea Petagna possibly joining them on the sidelines.

Monza: Turati; Izzo, Mari, Carboni; Pereira, Pessina, Bondo, Kyriakopoulos; Mota, Maldini; Djuric

Lazio: Provedel; Lazzari, Gila, Romagnoli, Tavares; Rovella, Guendouzi; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos
