Starting XIs: Three changes for City’s Portsmouth trip
Liam Manning makes three changes to his Norwich City side for their meeting with Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
Manning brings Emiliano Marcondes straight into his front three after excluding him from the matchday squad for an opening day defeat to Millwall, while Marcelino Nunez replaces Jacob Wright in midfield.
Papa Amadou Diallo makes his Championship debut ahead of Jeffrey Schlupp after claiming both assists in a 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Watford on Tuesday, starting at left wing-back in front of Jose Cordoba in a 3-4-3.
Headline summer signing Mathias Kvistgaarden is available and on the City bench. Matej Jurasek is omitted from Manning’s 20 again despite a cameo at Vicarage Road.
City are still without club captain Kenny McLean as he recovers from ankle surgery early in pre-season, along with Lucien Mahovo as he targets availability after next month’s international break. Elliot Myles and Amankwah Forson are long-term absentees.
Norwich academy product Josh Murphy was Pompey’s player of the season last term and starts after returning from a minor injury.
