DONE DEAL: Fulham ‘go all out’ to finalise €37m record signing for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Kevin – Agent travels, unblocks deal
Earlier this week, we covered claims from Brazil which stated Fulham have made an offer of €37m for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Kevin.
On Friday, Tuttosport reported Marco Silva’s side are prioritising a move for the 22-year-old and also have Juventus’ Nicolás González in their short list.
Fulham are moving ahead in their pursuit of Kevin if AS is to be believed.
They make it clear it’s their own information and claim the winger has agreed terms with Fulham. AS add the Premier League club are ‘about to go all out’ to secure his services this summer.
It’s further explained Fulham are ‘on the verge’ of a club-record signing and are finalising the operation to secure the 22-year-old’s services.
The Ukrainian club are said to have rejected Fulham’s initial bid of over €30m.
They initially requested €50m for the Brazilian and AS reports the transfer could be closed for €40-45m including bonuses. This will surpass Fulham’s current club-record signing of Emile Smith Rowe for €32m.
With Kevin reaching an agreement with Fulham, the two clubs want to close the sale as soon as possible. The newspaper adds the player’s agent will travel to London early next week to unblock the deal.
If there are no last-minute surprises, Marco Silva’s side are expected to close this signing soon.
Kevin managed nine goals and four assists from 35 games last season and four goals and two assists from three games this season.
