Confident Premier League figure sends Rangers warning to Celtic as Hoops told what they can’t do in title race
Nottingham Forest has sent the defender out on loan a second time. His first spell away from the City Ground was at
Ibrox before he signed a season-long loan with Besiktas.
Worrall spent the 2018/19 season at Rangers before going back to Forest to help them clinch Premier League
promotion. He still keeps an eye on his former club and the intruiging title race unfolding.
At the moment, Celtic leads Philippe Clement’s team by three points. Rangers are temporarily kept at bay thanks to a
2-1 victory over Hibs on Wednesday, which was achieved by a last-minute penalty from Adam Idah.
The guys for Philippe Clement do have a match ahead of them. This weekend is reserved for Scottish Cup action, as
Celtic travels to Paisley to play St Mirren, while the Light Blues visit Ayr United.
TalkSPORT questioned Worrall on his predictions for the outcome of the title battle. And he gave his former side a wink and a nod.
“I am always keeping an eye on the Gers,” he declared. Up there, I have lots of buddies.
“I had a great time up there. A few really happy recollections. They did a good job of hiring. Although the
administration has changed since I was employed there, they have continued to make growth.
Celtic are currently a major motivating factor. However, I wouldn’t rule out the Rangers just yet.”
