Bojan Miovski claims he is flattered ‘to be linked with clubs like Celtic and Southampton’ after scoring 20 goals this season for Aberdeen.

Neil Warnock just needed a few days as manager of The Dons to grasp what he had at his disposal.

He believes Bojan Miovski is the best centre-forward in Scottish football.

Not only that, but the free-scoring Montenegrin would look quite at home south of the border,

and Warnock believes Miovski will have little trouble making an impression in the Premier League.

Who knows, maybe Miovski will be given the opportunity to prove Warnock’s predictions correct sooner rather than later.

Southampton, who are now second in the Championship and hoping to return to the Premier League as soon as possible,

have long been admirers. There is also local interest.

According to The Sun, Celtic and Rangers are interested in Miovski, who has already scored excellent but quite different goals against both clubs this week.

Celtic, Rangers, and Southampton all associated with Bojan Miovski.

“I’m having the best season of my career at Aberdeen, and I’m enjoying football,” Miovski says,

adding to his tally of 20 with an innovative flicked finish against Ibrox on Tuesday.

“I enjoy Scotland. It has a strong affinity for football. People adore the club and follow us wherever we go.

I enjoy Scottish football because it is played rapidly and the balls are constantly thrown towards the strikers.

“The game is played with a lot of contact, but it’s direct and I love seeing this much action in the penalty box.”

According to Sky Sports, Aberdeen is looking to pay roughly £8 million for Miovski.

That would make him the most expensive player to leave one Scottish Premiership side for another,

and it is likely to put a strain on the Old Firm’s finances.
