James Tavernier credits Philippe Clement for Rangers revival

Following a stellar recent run, Rangers and Celtic are now tied on points. James Tavernier disclosed that Rangers have put more pressure on Premiership leaders Celtic as a result of Philippe Clement’s increased intensity.

Since replacing Michael Beale as manager of the Govan team in October of last year, the Belgian has won the Viaplay Cup and revitalized the team.

We were able to accomplish that by simply continuing to ask questions throughout the second half.

However, the gaffer has instilled a genuine mindset in us, demanding perfection from us both on and off the field. We’re succeeding in meeting this mentality, growing as a team, and advancing under his leadership.

After eight tense minutes of added time and the sending off of substitute Dujon Sterling in the 88th minute, Rangers ended the game with 10 men. Tavernier observed the excitement at the end of the match.

Tavernier remarked, “I think the fans can tell how hard we’re working and how good we are.”

It always coexists harmoniously. We obviously need to give it our all on stage if we want the fans to support us and be on our side, and I thought we did a pretty good job.

“For the goals, we had the right players at the right times. In my opinion, we did a good job controlling the ball. We know we can do better, of course, and we lose a goal, but aside from that, we hardly gave them any opportunities.

However, I thought we handled the game well in the latter stages, going down to 10 men, and we won it.
