Rangers could use a fully healthy roster till the conclusion of the season, since they are currently tied for first place in

the Scottish Premiership with Celtic and trail just their Old Firm rivals on goal differential. Philippe Clement hasn’t

exactly benefited from the most recent update in that regard, though.

Rangers injury news

Rangers’ season in the Scottish Premiership could come to an abrupt end after they have already played the same

amount of games as Celtic. Clement should get a lot of credit for his ability to reenergize the Gers after Michael Beale

had completely disregarded the title race. The former AS Monaco manager has turned their championship

aspirations from a pipe dream to a very real possibility at the conclusion

of the season in his first few months in command.

Not without some negatives though, Rangers’ injury list could quickly prove to be an obstacle in the way of the

ultimate title race comeback.

Dr. Rajpal Brar claims that Kieran Dowell would likely need several weeks to recover from surgery on his foot injury,

which is a disappointing setback for the Rangers. “He got his foot stuck on a bad pitch and suffered a pretty bad

injury because of it,” Dr. Brar said to Ibrox News. Although the exact nature of the injury is unknown, the fact that he needed surgery suggests that it was quite serious.

When he draws closer to his return, the exercises for his neuromuscular control, strength, and mobility will become

more and more specialized to fit his needs as a sportsman. He should still be in training for a few weeks, in my opinion.

Clement will be hoping that Dowell makes a comeback at some point in the upcoming month, but as of right now, it’s

unclear when the former Norwich City player will be back in the starting lineup for the Gers.

“Strong” Dowell was beginning to find his feet at Rangers

It would be an understatement to say that Dowell’s injuries occurred at the worst possible time. After appearing

content for a while, the midfielder won a spot in Clement’s squad by starting four Scottish Premiership games. But

now he has to battle to recover from his injuries and earn a spot in a Rangers

team that is aiming to unseat Celtic in Scotland’s premier league.

But Dowell’s teammates are aware of his abilities and will undoubtedly support him to make a big comeback. Earlier

in the season, Leon Balogun, full of praise for the 26-year-old, told Rangers Tv: “I think all the boys will agree that

Kieran deserves it, so for me, I am really, super delighted for him.
