ULTIMO MINUTO: Paulo Dybala è finalmente pronto a lasciare la Roma, mentre il club è alla ricerca di un sostituto.

Paulo Dybala can leave Roma in the January transfer window with a €13m release clause but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentinean is not considering leaving the Stadio Olimpico this month.

Clubs interested in Dybala have a huge chance to secure his signature in the winter transfer window as Italian sources, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, claim a €13m clause is valid from January 1, 2024.

According to Gazzetta, Roma can nullify the clause if an Italian club want to use it by paying a bonus from €3m to €5m to their star.

However, the Giallorossi will be powerless if a foreign club activate the clause and at that stage, only the player could block a transfer by refusing to leave the Stadio Olimpico.

This seems to be the case for the January transfer window as, according to Gazzetta, La Joya is not considering leaving the club this month.

However, the scenario could change in the summer depending on Roma’s project and José Mourinho’s future given that the coach’s contract runs out in June 2024.

On the other hand, Dybala’s deal in the capital expires in June 2025 and according to Gazzetta, the Argentinean is waiting for the club to open contract extension talks.
