BBC Sportsound pundit slaughters Rangers for ‘absolutely horrific’ incident at Ibrox v Aberdeen

Former Gers forward Steven Thompson said that Rangers’ goal against Aberdeen was “absolutely horrific.”

I believe Rangers have occasionally wasted opportunities in the last third. It was a terrible goal to lose for a team that has been playing such strong defense and giving up so few goals.

Even though it didn’t matter much in the end, it was a preventable error and things could have turned out

differently. From a Rangers perspective, Connor Goldson in particular was left with a sour taste in his mouth due to

a number of careless aspects of the goal. Clement would not have been happy that he let the ball bounce and Miovski

overcome him, and the fact that the goal came just before halftime did not help the situation.

Although it won’t matter much in the big picture, the Gers can’t afford to keep making errors like these when they are

vying for the championship with Celtic.
