Defensive Decision : Newcastle United boss Reveals major Changes at Club ahead of Trips

The young Newcastle United stars have certainly responded positively to the appointment of new team boss Diarmuid O’Carroll.

He was appointed (see below) only 13 days ago as the new ‘Lead Coach’ of the NUFC Under 21s.

They had only won one and lost two of their four opening reserve league matches this season.

However, only three days after the announcement that Newcastle United had paid St Mirren the compensation to get his release, Diarmuid O’Carroll oversaw a 2-0 league win over Blackburn, with Turner-Cooke scoring both goals.

After eight days, they pulled off another thrilling league victory, this time defeating Aston Villa 3-2 on the road after falling behind 2-1.

Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara, two studs of the home club, are back in the starting lineup.

Parkinson and Heffernan (twice) scored the goals that sealed another league victory.

Between these two league victories—possibly even more impressive—the teenage stars of Newcastle United played in the National League Cup against the Halifax Town first team. Emerson and Parkinson goals give United a 2-1 victory over the National League team.

Diarmuid O’Carroll is off to a fantastic start with three straight victories. May it last for a very long time.
