George Kittle Declares What Bears Should Do With No. 1 Pick in 2024 NFL Draft
After the Super Bowl, the Chicago Bears will be the focus of the league since they will have the top selection in the 2024 NFL draft.
The key question is whether Chicago would select USC’s Caleb Williams or another signal-caller, like Justin Fields, with the first choice in the draft.
George Kittle included, it seems like everyone has an idea about what the Bears should do.
When asked what he would do with the first pick if he were running the Bears, the tight end with the San
Francisco 49ers supported quarterback Brandon Fields as a franchise quarterback.
At Super Bowl LVIII opening night on Monday at Allegiant Stadium, Kittle stated, “Personally, I think they should trade back,
get as many picks as they can and build around a guy that they’ve been trying to build around, give the guy some actual options.
” “Trust the child and build him up to the biggest size you can.”
Kittle seems to think the Bears should adopt a similar strategy, acknowledging that the 49ers are a well-rounded club
with a plethora of players to support quarterback Brock Purdy.
Fields, who will start his fourth NFL season in 2024, has amassed over 4,800 passing yards and 1,800 rushing yards since the start of the season.
In his last 28 games, he has also scored 45 touchdowns overall.
But a lot of people think Williams, the Heisman Trophy winner in 2022, is a potential who shouldn’t be overlooked.
The Bears own two picks in this year’s top 10, which gives them flexibility to build around whichever quarterback they choose this offseason.
But it seems as though Fields already has proven his value to Kittle.
