Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has promoted an unseen teenager to his Europa League squad, with the

youngster also spotted in training ahead of their clash with Ferencvaros on Thursday evening. The Lilywhites have

travelled to Budapest to face Ferencvaros, with Spurs’ second European game of the season beginning at

5:45pm.Supporters will be able to watch the match live on TNT Sports, where Postecoglou’s team is expected to

secure their fifth consecutive win in all competitions after victories against Coventry City, Brentford, Qarabag, and

Manchester United last weekend. Brennan Johnson has been on fire after being forced to delete his social media

channels owing to online abuse, scoring in each of Spurs’ last four victories, while summer newcomer Dominic

Solanke will see today as a real opportunity to extend his own goal-scoring streak.

Tottenham’s match against the Hungarian minnows will also provide an opportunity for several potential young

players to shine on the big stage. Lucas Bergvall is expected to see more game time for Spurs as the club prepares for

their Europa League campaign, while injuries to Son Heung-min and Destiny Udogie provide opportunities for

periphery players of the squad to impress in their absence. Following Radu Dragusin’s and Udogie’s suspensions,

Postecoglou has already announced his plans to use young summer signing Archie Gray, who can play a range of

positions. “Archie can play center-back, full-back, midfield, and left-back,” Postecoglou said of Gray’s role.

“He’s an extremely versatile player. He absorbs knowledge well. With Radu [Dragusin] suspended and Destiny

[Udogie] out, we’ll undoubtedly need him in the back. We have a few different alternatives for where we can employ

him, but I’d be comfortable using him in any of them.” Gray is hardly the only adolescent talent available to

Postecoglou in terms of football. Alasdair Gold, a London journalist, has shared three fresh names that have been

added to their Europa League roster and could make the bench tonight evening. Alfie Dorrington and Dante

Cassanova were sighted training before Ferencvaros, as was unseen 18-year-old winger Damola Ajayi. Goldlabeled

the winger as “exciting” and “direct” but he has yet to make his Spurs professional debut.
