Among the clubs who spent the most during the summer transfer window was Tottenham,

who paid the most amount of any Premier League team when they acquired

Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth for £65 million.

This season, the England striker has scored three goals for Spurs,

the last coming on Sunday at Old Trafford during their 3-0 victory over Manchester United.

Solanke joined the team a year after Harry Kane was sold,

while Viktor Gyokeres has been connected to the Spurs recently.

The team is reportedly eager to recruit more attacking players in an effort

to replicate the goal-scoring contributions of their former captain.

Spurs are apparently prepared to return for a second raid on Bournemouth,

and now another in-form attacker has been linked to a move to north London.

With his first-half goal in the Cherries’ 3-1 victory over Southampton on Monday night,

Antoine Semenyo had a fantastic start to the current campaign.

It was his third Premier League goal of the year.

Fichajes claims that Spurs have taken notice of this form.

According to the source, Tottenham plans to pursue the 24-year-old next summer and is prepared to pay €40 million for the Ghanaian international; however,

if he keeps up his strong play, this amount may increase.

Semenyo, who cost £10 million when he joined the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2022,

scored eight goals and provided two assists in the previous campaign, helping the team place 12th.

Before making his breakthrough with the Robins, he had loan stints at Bath City,

Newport County, and Sunderland. After that, he moved to the south coast,

where his growth at Bournemouth has made him one of the Premier League’s most entertaining wingers.

Transfermarkt presently values him at €20 million, but that amount is quickly increasing,

and the Cherries would not conduct business at that amount.

Semenyo appears to be a player on the rise and has a promising future in the Premier League, according to FourFourTwo.

He fits the type of player that Spurs would target at the age of 24,

and he still has room to develop as a player.

However, would that be the best course of action for him given that the team already has Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski occupying the right-wing positions?

But if he continues on his present rich vein of form, we can be certain that his fan base will expand.
