Regis Le Bris shares Sunderland injury update with one player now ‘available’ to face Derby County

Regis Le Bris has provided a positive injury update for Sunderland’s upcoming match against Derby County. The team is looking to

rebound from a 2-1 loss to Watford on the road. The midfield played a significant role in the loss, with Joe Bellingham performing poorly

in the center of the park. Sunderland captain Dan Neil was also off the pace, as he played a role in the loss for all the wrong reasons,

making an unnecessary challenge on a Watford attacker in the box, allowing the hosts to convert and sail to victory.

Despite the setback, Sunderland fans’ hopes will be revived ahead of the Derby County game, as one Black Cats player is expected to

return to the squad, according to Le Bris. It appeared unlikely that Alan Browne would recover in time for the match against Derby

County, which may have seen Neil start after a dismal performance the previous Saturday. However, Le Bris has announced that the

former Preston North End player will be ‘available’ for the next game. There is no doubt that Sunderland has enjoyed a fantastic start to

still rotate his squad, and the return of Browne will undoubtedly help keep his midfielders fresh, notably Neil, who will profit from a little

positions in the
