For Monday’s September 30 morning briefing, Hamish Carton was joined by Ryan McGinlay and Tony Haggerty of The Celtic Way.

Today’s talk revolved around two games:

and then Celtic’s forthcoming Champions League trip to Germany to take on Borussia Dortmund.

Will the team led by Brendan Rodgers succeed in achieving a spectacular victory at Signal Iduna Park tomorrow night?

and Celtic could engage in a thrilling match on Tuesday after both teams had outstanding beginnings to their Champions League campaigns.

Dortmund overcame Club Brugge 3-0 after a slow start, and the Bhoys’ 5-1

victory over Slovan Bratislava at Parkhead made it a legendary European evening.

Confidence is bound to be high following two impressive victories last time out:

Brendan Rodgers’ team triumphed 6-0 at St Johnstone and Der BVB won their derby with Bochum 4-2 on Friday.

At the Westfalenstadion, it appears to be an open match, thus goals should be on the schedule.

In their last three games, Celtic has scored six goals or more,

winning five against Slovan Bratislava, five against Falkirk, and six against St Johnstone.

But since 2013, the Bhoys have only triumphed once away from home

in the group stage/league round of the Champions League, defeating Anderlecht 3-0 in September 2017.

Serhou Guirassy, a striker for Dortmund, has scored four goals in his previous three appearances.
