DONE DEAL: Everton new stadium club chief provides stadium naming rights update.

The new Everton stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is scheduled to open for play in 2025–2026.

Everton has disclosed that they have received multiple bids for the naming rights to the team’s future stadium.

The Toffees won’t be receiving the keys to the 52,888-seat venue at Bramley-Moore Dock for several weeks.

With any luck, construction will finish by year’s end, allowing them to move into the new,

state-of-the-art facility in time for the 2025–2026 season.

Although the team has called historic Goodison Park home since 1892,

moving to the banks of the River Mersey will result in a huge increase in revenue.

Selling the stadium’s naming rights is a component of that.

At the beginning of 2020, USM negotiated a £30 million naming-rights option deal.

However, the club was compelled to break off its relationship

with USM due to owner Alisher Usmanov’s sanctions imposed by the UK government after Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2023.

Prior to the Blues’ 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace,

supporters were given a fresh update on the search by Chief Commercial and Communications Officer Richard Kenyon during Saturday’s matchday program.

Since the agreement will run for at least ten years,”We have made good progress on stadium naming rights with offers made to our board of directors in the last few months,” Kenyon stated.

Since any agreement will probably last for at least ten years,

our supporters will understand more than anybody else why it is imperative

that we make sure the brand we select is a good long-term fit for the team.

I’ll keep you updated on this crucial component.

“Our capacity to boost match-day revenue will be a crucial component

of the club’s transformation at Everton Stadium,

and we’ll have a number of innovative and improved methods to accomplish this at each home game.”

The biggest boost in revenue will come from the substantial expansion of premium spaces,

such as bars and restaurants, with a capacity at Everton Stadium more than four times bigger than Goodison.

This is in addition to the potential to improve “spend-per-head” through technological innovation.
