Jamie Vardy and Steve Cooper received yellow cards for their protests following the goal. Leicester claimed that Vardy was fouled during

the buildup to the game.

It was confirmed that the goal was reviewed by VAR, however the result was that referee Sam Barratt committed no clear and obvious

error.

Arsenal extended their lead just before the half-time whistle. Leandro Trossard scored in the opening minute of added time after

returning from suspension.

A quick VAR check on the goal revealed an offside offence. However, it was quickly over, with Arsenal seizing a 2-0 lead just before the

whistle.

Full-back James Justin converted a free kick just three minutes into the second half to make the score 2-1. With just over 25 minutes
