Dallas Cowboys Plot To Trade For NFL Superstar Foiled

The Dallas Cowboys are looking for pass-rushing help after losing Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence to injuries against the New

York Giants on Thursday night.

Both pass rushers are expected to miss time after Friday’s assessments revealed that their injuries were worse than expected. Lawrence’s

foot condition is more severe than Parson’s ankle.

With the Cowboys losing their top pass rushers before of three tough games against playoff teams from last season, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler

“The Cowboys are looking at external options at pass rusher with Micah Parsons (high left ankle sprain) and DeMarcus Lawrence (right

midfoot sprain) going down, but they will start in-house,” according to Fowler. “They think Parsons will return sooner rather than later.

(As for external candidates, I’m informed Haason Reddick of the Jets is not a viable trade option due to cost.)”

Haason Reddick was moved from the Philadelphia Eagles to the New York Jets this offseason, but he has chosen to sit out this season

after failing to reach an agreement on a contract extension.

Reddick is the top pass-rushing target on the trade market, but the Cowboys cannot afford to deal for him this season or in the future.

Micah Parsons’ contract with Dallas has not yet been extended.

While Reddick is not a candidate, the Cowboys are expected to pursue other notable but less expensive defensive ends following Fowler’s

report.
