Derby Count vs Norwich: Pundit makes ‘strong’ claim for Derby County as he makes score prediction vs Norwich.

Derby County have been praised as a ‘strong’ side under Paul Warne before the Norwich City clash.

Derby County will be hoping to make it four wins on the bounce at home so far this season,

with Norwich City sitting in their way.

It has been a brilliant start to proceedings for Paul Warne’s side, who have demonstrated such incredible abilities,

particularly on the defensive side, whilst playing at Pride Park, with them yet to concede a single goal at home this season.

The Rams will unfortunately be without the likes of David Ozoh, who has played a crucial and key role up until this point

in the centre-of-the-park, however Ben Osborn will likely fill into his role.

There is every bit of optimism that Warne’s side can continue their terrific form,

with predictions certainly angling in the direction of a Derby County win.

‘Strong’ Derby County predicted home win vs Norwich City

If Derby County are able to bag another three points against the Canaries, they will climb higher towards the play-offs,

and there is every chance they will be able to do so this afternoon.

Per Sky Sports Championship Predictions, David Prutton was quizzed on whether he believes Derby County

would continue their home form,

where he said: “Derby I think given the fact they are ahead of them [Norwich City] in the table on their return is relatively

a job well done so far for Paul Warne.

“Yes they’ve got the advantage of how strong they are at home.

“If they want a very successful season, the ability to win on the road has got to be cranked up a few notches.

“I’m going to go, Derby County to win 1-0 at home.”

Derby County win will be big indicator of top half finish

Ever since the opening day defeat against Blackburn Rovers, the optimism in-and-around Pride Park has shifted immensely,

with the club making strides both on and off the pitch,

with owner David Clowes looking to sell up to 80% of his share in Derby County.

The Rams at this point are certainly looking above their initial expectations of avoiding relegation,

and whilst Opta predictions suggest that they will finish 14th in the Championship,

there is every chance that they could build towards a potential top half finish this season.

Their form at this moment is certainly pointing the way of a solid finish in the 2024/25 Championship campaign,

and being able to control the tide against a decent Norwich City side will without a doubt increase the likelihood of that.
