Everton versus Crystal Palace Predicted lineups for the Premier League clash
Everton will be keen for their first win of the season, following a four-game Premier League losing streak that ended last weekend with a draw against Leicester. This comes amid speculation over who may take over the club.
Crystal Palace are also looking for their first league win of the season. The Eagles will have gained confidence by digging in to earn a point against Manchester United, but they will need to start the game much faster than they have in recent games. Palace have at least won the League Cup. In contrast, Everton went out of
Southampton defeated the competition at home on penalties. They had intended to start their final season at Goodison Park in a more thrilling fashion. Palace haven’t won a league game at Goodison Park in a decade. This might be a nerve-racking affair; here’s the most recent team news and starting XI information.
Everton Team News
Branthwaite getting closer to first team action
Everton’s point at Leicester last week was the sole bright spot in a terrible season for the Toffees. To make matters worse, Sean Dyche has a long list of unavailable players, with Ukrainian international Vitalii Mykolenko perhaps available for selection after being ill.
Jarrad Branthwaite appeared for the club’s under-21 team as he recovers from a groin injury, with Real Madrid reportedly interested in signing him. If he is close to full fitness, Sean Dyche may include him in the team. Nathan Patterson also appeared in that under-21 game. He, too, may be prepared to return to the first team.

Dyche discusses a possible Branthwaite comeback.
There is little doubt that Everton would gain from Jarrad Branthwaite’s comeback, but Sean Dyche is wary of thrusting him back into the first team, according to the Liverpool Echo.
“Jarrad took longer than we expected, but the body is weird. Consider this: why do we have six weeks of preseason if every player can just play? There would be no use in it.”
Everton Predicted Starting XI
Mykolenko to return for Toffees
With numerous players still sidelined, Everton will attempt to reintroduce Mykolenko as a full-back after he had been out due to illness. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will once again be in charge of scoring the most of the goals.
Pickford; Mykolenko, Keane, Tarkowski, Young; Doucoure, Mangala; Ndiaye, McNeil, Lindstrom; Calvert-Lewin.
Substitutes: Begovic (GK), Branthwaite (DEF), Dixon (DEF), Garner (DEF), O’Brien (DEF), Patterson (MID), Harrison (MID), Iroegbunam (MID), and Beto (CF).
Crystal Palace Team News
Chalobah available for Glasner’s side
Ismaila Sarr, who impressed after coming in against Manchester United, is expected to make his Premier League debut in place of Jean-Philippe Mateta. Despite being overrun by Manchester United in their previous game, Palace almost seized the lead,
with Sarr foiled only by a stunning Andre Onana save. Trevoh Chalobah, who has yet to appear for the club since signing on loan from Chelsea, has healed from an abdominal injury and will rejoin to the squad.
Oliver Glasner discusses the squad’s fitness
Manager Oliver Glasner provided an update on his team’s condition ahead of the journey to Merseyside, with Trevoh Chalobah and others now fit and eligible for the match, while Matheus Franca is too young to play.
“Matheus Franca and Trevoh Chalobah are available, but França will not be in the team after spending his first full week with us. It would be unfair to include him in the squad after nearly six months, but he is in good health and has no concerns.
“Trevoh will win the squad and is available, but we lost Chris Richards this week. He is unavailable for the next week due to a hamstring injury.
The remaining players are available. Cheick Doucouré and Chadi Riad are out, but the rest of the squad had a wonderful week, and we go into Liverpool full of confidence.

Crystal Palace Predicted Starting XI
Sarr to start for Eagles against Everton
Palace understands that they will need to provide significantly more than they did in the first half against Manchester United, and they may do so with Ismaila Sarr on the outside. Although Chalobah is fit, we believe he will just be on the bench for the Goodison Park game.
Expected starting lineup (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Richards, Guehi, Lacroix; Mitchell, Wharton, Kamada, Munoz; Eze, Sarr, and Nketiah.
Substitutes: Clyne (DEF), Ward (DEF), Chalobah (DEF), Hughes (MID), Lerma (MID), Sclupp (FWD), Mateta (CF).
