Shocking: Rangers ticket confirmation is still pending.

The number of tickets that Hibs will receive for their trip to Govan this weekend is yet unknown.
Although Hibs manager David Gray acknowledges that he fully comprehends the fans’ displeasure

with the ticket situation surrounding Sunday’s trip to play Rangers at Ibrox,

he is optimistic that the club’s efforts to advocate for the full number of briefs will be successful.

After seeking the SPFL’s intervention, the Hibees are still waiting to get formal confirmation of the exact number of tickets they will receive for this weekend’s away game.

For Sunday’s Premiership match in Govan, Easter Road officials anticipate a total of 932 briefs. Last Saturday,

Ibrox was finally opened for the Premier Sports Cup quarterfinal between Rangers and Dundee, but with portions in the Copland Stand—which underwent extensive renovations during the summer still unavailable spectators.

With less than 72 hours till the game,

Gray has reassured Hibs fans that the team is making every effort to achieve the intended result. “My understanding at the moment is that we expect [away] supporters to be there, which I think is great,”

he stated in a pregame interview with the media.

It’s the most crucial element. Supporters are essential to Scottish football and a major factor in the game’s spectacular nature.

They support their teams wholeheartedly and with great emotion.

They ought to be able to go ahead and take that action. We also had the chance to visit there and wish them well as they head back along the M8.

It’s a challenging game in a challenging setting, but having them there truly heightens the experience.

My understanding is that I believe they will be granted access.

I am aware that the club is making a lot of effort to speak with everyone in an effort to make that happen.

I can appreciate how tough and annoying it must be for the fans.

My entire attention is focused on getting the team ready, which is a difficult task in and of itself.

However, I am aware of how hard the club has been working.

“Ideally, the fans would want to know as soon as possible so they can make plans and know exactly what’s going on.”
However, I’m sure that everyone is making every effort to make that happen.”
