Being a former Celtic player, Sutton naturally had a lot to say about this and asserted that Rodgers would not be leaving the Scottish powerhouse for West Ham at this time.

Regarding if Rodgers would quit Celtic, Sutton gave his opinion.

The caller stated, “I think Brendan Rodgers would be a good fit. I also think Scott Parker would be a good leader.”

He’s in a sizable club located north of the border. Come on, Sutton remarked, he wouldn’t degrade and join West Ham right now.

We wouldn’t be as certain as Sutton that Rodgers wouldn’t leave Celtic for West Ham.

One could legitimately argue that West Ham is an even larger club than Leicester, and Rodgers might depart if he were to be offered another interesting Premier League challenge.

After being fired by Leicester in 2023, Rodgers may understand, of course, that not always the grass is greener, but the Premier League will always have an allure.

Rodgers appears to be devoted to Celtic right now, but as we witnessed years ago, anything can happen.
