The 27-year-old defender has started the opening four Bundesliga games of this season and has been a big part of the club’s defence in the ongoing campaign.

Despite the weaknesses in his game, Kristensen has gained popularity for the way he organises his defence and is a vocal member of the back four at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Leeds United defender is wanted by Eintracht on a long-term contract, albeit at a reduced cost. After his loan term expires, the Bundesliga club is eager to sign him permanently after being impressed by his performances. According to the rules of the loan agreement they reached with Leeds in the summer, Eintracht has the option to make the move permanent for a cost of €13 million.

Fussball.news, a German publication, claims t myhat Eintracht is eager to renegotiate the deal and acquire him for less money. Since he would only have one year remaining on his Leeds contract come summertime, Eintracht is unwilling to pay the amount that Leeds and Eintracht had previously agreed upon.
