The press conference with Marco Silva of Newcastle United has concluded.

The Fulham manager is excited for Saturday afternoon.

Marco Silva is aiming for home comforts following his midweek loss at Preston.

The 34-man penalty shootout made headlines, but Fulham supporters were not pleased that Marco Silva’s risk of starting a new club didn’t work out.

The Marco Silva Newcastle United press conference:

Before facing Newcastle United, Marco Silva inquired about the injury and availability situation:

“From the previous game, not much has changed.

“Carlos Vinicus is still out, but he will be back in action starting next week; all other players are available.”

Marco Silva enquired about Fulham’s season opening performance:

It has been a reliable one.

“I felt that losing to West Ham and not getting the three points was really unfair.”

“To have received those three points would have been even better.”

The player’s effort would have been rewarded, and the three points would have made sense given the manner we performed.

“Losing at Preston on Tuesday was a bit of an odd feeling, but teams with character and personality bounce back from bad performances.”

“We need to respond now that we had a rough night.

Marco Silva speaking about Adama Traore:

“Every pre-season is different when you can work on it.

“He arrived late the previous season and trained by himself in Spain without a preseason.”

“It was tough for him to heal and regain his confidence after he was hurt during a training session last year.

We barely saw him last season, but when he did, it was to the team’s advantage.

“He’s assisting the team this season with his strength and power.”
