Sean Dyche confirms triple injury boost as Jarrad Branthwaite return plan revealed
Sean Dyche has provided an Everton update ahead of their trip to Leicester City on Saturday.
The Toffees are looking for their first Premier League points of the season, having lost all four thus far. It leaves Everton at the bottom of
the standings, facing a newly promoted Leicester side with only two points.
Furthermore, Dyche’s side was eliminated from the Carabao Cup earlier this week after losing a penalty shootout to Southampton.
Everton were missing numerous players for the third round defeat, notably Dominic Calvert-Lewin, James Garner, and Vitalii Mykolenko,
who were all ill. Calvert-Lewin and Mykolenko have been training today, but Garner is still not back at Finch Farm. Meanwhile, James
Tarkowski was unable to play against Southampton due to a back injury. He has trained and should be fine.
Idrissa Gana Gueye missed out against Southampton and will be absent again due to a family loss.
Jarrad Branthwaite (groin) and Nathan Patterson (hamstring) are back in training. Both will not feature. Patterson has been absent since
April, and neither has made an appearance this season. However, both will play for the under 21s against Sunderland on Sunday.
