Once again, the Dallas Cowboys collapsed in the postseason, falling to the Green Bay Packers as the No.

2 seed on wild-card weekend. Since Dallas hasn’t advanced to the NFC title game in 28 years, many NFL fans anticipate a yearly postseason catastrophe from the team.

This features Terrell Owens, a former wide receiver for the Cowboys who spent three seasons with Dallas but finished 0-2 in the playoffs.

During his Friday appearance on KGMZ-FM in San Francisco’s The Morning Roast with Bonta and Shasky, Owens stated that he is not shocked by yet another Dallas letdown.

“With the Cowboys, honestly, I kind of expected that, and that’s just me being honest,” Owens stated.

I make an effort to remove my preconceptions and sort of step outside of my identity as a fan.

However, the company is simply not managed very properly.

“I believe that certain front-office, hierarchy-type changes will need to occur for that team to truly succeed, most likely beginning with the owner and possibly the general manager.

That is my personal opinion. They will not prevail in the near future.

” With that statement, Owens explicitly targeted Jerry Jones, who runs the Cowboys as both its general manager and owner.

The former wide receiver seems to suggest that because the team is profitable, Jones doesn’t care enough about winning.

“For Jerry Jones, that money is always going to win, whether they win or lose or draw.

So it doesn’t matter what they do,” Owens said. “So these Cowboys fans, they can keep crying.

The best thing they can do is boycott going to some of those Cowboy games for a number of years until they till they get to at least the NFC Championship.

Next season, Dallas will again enter a season with Super Bowl aspirations despite coming off a disappointing postseason. According to Owens, though, nothing will change as long as Jones is in charge.
