The New Orleans Saints absolutely demolished the Dallas Cowboys, but they lost their Swiss Army Knife in the process. The Saints look incredible in their first two games of the season on both sides of the ball, but their TE/RB/FB/WR Taysom Hill was hospitalized after the beat down of the Cowboys.

While the Saints look like a juggernaut to start the season, Hill was forced out of their domination of Dallas with a chest injury. New Orleans won 44-19 and averaged 7.7 yards a play against Dallas. Hill required a hospital visit after the game, but the head coach Dennis Allen is not too worried long-term about the injury:

Per longtime NFL reporter Ed Werder: “Saints TE/FB Taysom Hill returned home to New Orleans last night on the Saints charter after being transported from the stadium to a hospital with a chest injury. Hill is scheduled for more imaging tests today but team at the moment believes his injury is not overly serious.”

The team has used Hill in almost every way, and he usually makes at least one crucial play a game. He logged three carries in the game against Dallas and a reception before leaving the game. Coach Allen revealed that the hospital trip was more precautionary, but the team is waiting to see the results:

“I think it’s more precautionary but we’ll see,” Allen said of the hospital trip, via NOLA.com. “They wanted to make sure they went in and evaluated it further. Maybe more imaging.”
