And the match referee decided to postpone the game since the club wouldn’t be able to fix the problem in time for the 12 p.m. kickoff.
Just ninety minutes before the game was supposed to start, which was supposed to be televised live on Sky Sports, it was postponed.
The news that the game would not proceed reached the Rangers team as they were pulling into Dens Park.
“We’re supposed to be one of the most robust leagues in the world…and the ball is rolling,” he said to Sky Sports.
