as he reacts to one key thing.

The Belgian’s job now is to make sure the disappointment of defeat to Benfica

doesn’t impact their Treble dream.

Philippe Clement is adamant that Jack Butland won’t let an English snub to destroy

his prospects of winning more awards with Rangers.

Thursday’s news that he had not been selected for Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions

team and the Gers’ Europa League loss to Benfica left the Ibrox No. 1 doubly

disappointed.

Butland, though, doesn’t have time to pout because the Light Blues return to action

on Sunday when the Premiership leaders visit Dundee.

The way his goalie has been playing, which has been crucial to the team’s recent

comeback, has Clement overjoyed.

And the big Belgian anticipates that the goalie will get back to work as he aims to win

the Scottish Cup and league title in addition to building on his victory in the Viaplay

Cup in December.

 

“I don’t like this talk about ‘him, him, him,'” Clement remarked.
