Unknown details concerning the Rangers’ training facility hosting a renowned Dutch coach revealed

This week at the Rangers Training Centre was the head coach of Feyenoord’s U21 team.

Melvin Boel posted a photo of himself and two employees visiting Rangers earlier this week on social media.

Even though the visit’s objective is still unknown, Rangers is still able to build strong bonds and exchange ideas with teams throughout Europe and beyond.

Zeb Jacobs, a young Belgian who is well respected in the European game, is the current Academy Director of the Rangers Academy.

Zeb Jacobs envisions Rangers Academy

After being appointed director of the football department in the summer, Zeb Jacobs has huge hopes for the Ibrox young setup. He spoke about the club’s Academy.

With a desire to elevate Rangers to the pinnacle of European football, Jacobs aims to make the club’s young setup a “world leader” in Academy development.

“I sincerely believe that our Academy has the potential to become a world-leader in player development, especially with the resources and elite infrastructure already in place,” Jacobs stated.

“I have a very clear vision: to create the most thrilling learning environment in sports.” Our goal is to develop a new generation of players who can perform well not only for Rangers in Scotland but also on the European scene by utilizing each player’s full ability and skill set.

Rangers play the renowned Feyenoord youth setup.

The Rangers’ decision to welcome the Feyenoord youth department to the Ibrox club is intriguing, given the department has enjoyed a number of successes over the years.

Technically gifted players that perform at the highest level are a hallmark of Dutch football as a whole, and Feyenoord’s recent youth development success stories are rather spectacular.

However, Feyenoord in particular is well-known throughout the world; for example, no academy produced more players for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil (11).

Recent success stories include Tyrell Malacia (Man United), Stefan de Vrij (Inter), and Orkan Kokcu (Benfica).

Next on the list will be athletes like Justin Bijlow, Quilindschy Hartman, and Lutsharel Geertruida.

Rangers can learn a lot from Feyenoord as they strive to produce a golden generation of football players who can play on the field and bring in large sums of money.

However, it’s also intriguing to think about how much Feyenoord could learn from us.
