Al-Nassr intensify efforts to sign Kim Min-jae
According to Santi Aouna, Al-Nassr is stepping up their efforts to sign Kim Min-jae, a defender for Bayern Munich who reportedly joined the team from Napoli for €50 million in July 2023. Kim,
who has a contract with the Rekordmeister until 2028, has struggled since arriving from Italy but
played through injury for a significant portion of the previous season.

The South Korean defender made 43 appearances across all competitions last season under Vincent Kompany and will travel
with the team for the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA.
Kim would welcome a new challenge and is amenable to a relocation to Saudi Arabia, according
to Aouna, who also notes that the move would be financially advantageous. However, in addition
to Al-Nassr, the 28-year-old has drawn interest from Liverpool, Milan, Chelsea, Juventus, and
Newcastle United. Two weeks ago, Luis Campos of PSG also spoke with Kim’s representatives.
Furthermore, it seems that Bayern Munich is willing to let Kim go for about €30 million, which
is a lot less than the €50 million they paid to acquire the central defender two weeks ago.
