Odeluga Offiah, a defender for Brighton & Hove Albion, has been linked to moves from Charlton

Athletic and Queens Park Rangers, two championship rivals.

According to journalist Richard Cawley via his Substack, Brighton is open to a permanent exit, but

the two London teams are interested in recruiting the 22-year-old this summer.

During the 2024–25 season, Offiah made 40 League One appearances while on loan at Blackpool.

The Tangerines finished ninth in the third division under Steve Bruce, and his physical attributes

and adaptability made him an invaluable asset to the team.

The Camden-born defender can play either right or centre back, and if Charlton or QPR can finalise

a deal to sign him from Brighton, he may be returning to the capital for the upcoming campaign.

Offiah has Premier League experience and plenty of time to grow, making him a potentially wise move for Championship clubs this summer.

He has made 18 appearances as a substitute in the Premier League and six appearances in the top level for the Seagulls against teams like Newcastle United, Manchester City, and Chelsea.

In both of the Addicks’ games against Blackpool last season, Charlton manager Nathan Jones witnessed Offiah’s potential as he helped his team steal four points from the eventual promotion winners.
