BREAKING: LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors Announce Shocking Mid-Game Team Swap
In an unprecedented turn of events, chaos erupted at halftime during last night’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors as both teams agreed to swap rosters mid-game “for fun.”
According to sources close to the locker rooms, the idea started as a joke between LeBron James and Steph Curry during a pregame handshake. “We were just like, ‘What if we just switched teams for a half?’ And somehow… it happened,” said Curry, laughing.
NBA officials were reportedly too stunned to intervene, and the second half began with LeBron donning a Warriors jersey and Curry leading the Lakers’ offense.
The results were… confusing. Fans booed, cheered, and booed again as Draymond Green accidentally tried to guard himself, and Anthony Davis forgot which bench to sit on. Meanwhile, Warriors coach Steve Kerr briefly walked out after realizing he was coaching the same players he had been game-planning against.
“I thought I was having a stroke,” said commentator Charles Barkley. “At one point, Klay Thompson called a timeout just to ask what team he was on.”
The NBA has since announced a full investigation but admitted ratings “went through the roof.”
