Bayern Munich Accepts Frankfurt’s €21M Bid for Winger in Surprise Move
In a surprising twist early in the summer transfer window, Bayern Munich have reportedly accepted Eintracht Frankfurt’s opening offer of €21 million for one of their out-of-favor wingers, sources close to both clubs have confirmed.
While the player’s identity has not yet been officially disclosed, speculation is swirling that the deal involves Bouna Sarr or Gabriel Vidović, both of whom have struggled to secure consistent minutes under Bayern’s current manager, Vincent Kompany.
Frankfurt are believed to be eager to bolster their wide options ahead of a Europa League campaign and see the 23-year-old winger as a key addition to Niko Arnautović’s evolving squad.
Bayern insiders suggest the club is keen to streamline its squad and make room for incoming talent, with moves for Michael Olise and Xavi Simons reportedly in the works.
The medical is expected to take place later this week, with personal terms reportedly agreed in principle.
