Stoke City Accept Wrexham’s €2.1 Million Bid for Nathan Lowe – Deal Completed Between Clubs
Wrexham have officially completed the signing of young striker Nathan Lowe from Stoke City in a deal worth €2.1 million, as both clubs finalized terms earlier today. The transfer marks a major statement from the Welsh side as they continue their impressive recruitment drive ahead of the new League One campaign.
The 21-year-old forward, who emerged through Stoke’s academy, has been on Wrexham’s radar for several months. Known for his physical presence, finishing ability, and high work rate, Lowe is seen as a long-term investment by manager Phil Parkinson, who is keen to build a squad capable of pushing for another promotion.
Negotiations moved quickly in recent days, with Stoke accepting the €2.1 million offer—one of the biggest fees paid by Wrexham in recent history. All personal terms have been agreed, and Lowe is expected to link up with his new teammates immediately for pre-season training.
A club spokesperson said:
“Nathan is a player we’ve admired for a while. His potential is huge, and we believe he fits perfectly into our vision moving forward.”
With the deal now complete, Wrexham fans can look forward to seeing Lowe in red as the club prepares for its next chapter in League One. An official unveiling and media presentation are expected in the coming days.
