Reading FC fans call for ‘sea of blue and white’ on final day

Supporters are being urged by Reading fan groups to turn SCL Stadium into a sea of blue and white for Saturday’s League One play-off

match.

There are still many decisions to be made at the top and bottom of the third division, but there is only one game left in the regular League

One season.

With Leyton Orient leading Reading by a significant goal differential, the Royals are aware that their future is out of their control.

On the last day, when everything is still up for grabs, a sizable crowd is expected to cheer on Noel Hunt’s squad.

Even though they finished 17th in League One, almost 18,400 people attended the season’s last day, which saw a 3-2 victory over

Blackpool.

As anticipation for a takeover lingers and excitement keeps growing, attendance at the previous two home games has reached sixteen

thousand.
