Henrik Kraft has resigned as Southampton Football Club’s chairman, and Dragan Šolak, who owns the majority of the club, will take over.

Kraft will continue to be a shareholder and board member of Sport Republic, having invested a great deal of time and effort into managing

club operations.

“I would like to thank Henrik for the dedication and passion he has invested in his role,” Dragan Šolak remarked in response to the shift.

“I am really unhappy with the football results this season, even if I am happy with many areas of the club’s management. As soon as

everything is confirmed, we will publish the specifics of our next plan to bolster our football management staff.

“We started the season with the goal of remaining in the Premier League, and I know that our supporters are as frustrated as I am with the

way this season has unfolded thus far. As we traverse the remainder of the season together, I encourage everyone to keep giving the club

the same fervour and commitment that they have throughout the season.
