Loughborough Lightning and AFC Bournemouth concluded their title-winning campaigns without

any losses, while Real Bedford’s defeat did not hinder their promotion celebration.

Forest fight back for the title

When Nottingham Forest went a goal down against West Bromwich Albion, they found themselves

in an unusual position but responded emphatically to win 7-2.

In Forest’s significant victory that secured their title as Northern Premier Division champions, Mel Johnson netted four goals.

Wolverhampton Wanderers secured second place after a convincing 6-0 victory over Liverpool Feds.

In third place, Stoke City follows them after securing a 4-0 victory against Halifax. Next season,

Halifax and Stourbridge will compete in Tier 4, with the Glassgirls having lost 4-0 at home to Derby County.

Burnley secured a top-four finish by beating Sporting Khalsa 7-0 at Turf Moor, while Rugby Borough

and Hull City ended their match in a 1-1 draw.

Tractor Girls on top

To secure the Southern Premier Division, Ipswich Town scored eight unanswered goals against Cheltenham Town.

Lucy O’Brien’s excellent shot opened the scoring for the Tractor Girls, who ultimately didn’t require

such a decisive win since second-placed Hashtag United was defeated 2-0 by Oxford United.

Boro bag the title

The last day of Division One North was thrillingly poised, with Middlesbrough and Cheadle Town Stingers separated only by goal difference.

Middlesbrough gained an early advantage against Barnsley FC, maintaining their top position while Cheadle fell behind AFC Fylde.
