Bayern-Aufstellung gegen Inter: „Neue“ Anstoßzeit, Voraussichtliche Startelf für das Viertelfinal-Rückspiel der Champions League

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has a decision to make about who will fill Jamal Musiala’s vacant number 10 position in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Inter Milan on Wednesday.

Raphael Guerreiro started in the first-leg defeat last week, with Thomas Muller coming off the bench to score the equaliser, which was ultimately in vain.

Muller then started at the weekend in the 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund, but it was Guerreiro this time who made the big impact, starring from the bench with a goal, so Kompany has a tough decision to make about who could start in that position.

Musiala is set to miss the rest of the season with his injury, and veteran stopper Manuel Neuer will also be unavailable for the second leg, despite initially aiming to recover in time to play.

Instead, Neuer is now facing another two-to-three weeks on the sidelines, so 21-year-old Jonas Urbig is set to start between the sticks once more in yet another huge game, after not making a single appearance for the club prior to the last 16 first leg win over Bayer Leverkusen.

It is not just Neuer who is missing in defensive areas for the visitors too, as Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito are also absent at present, so Eric Dier and Kim Min-jae are set to start in the heart of defence.

Serge Gnabry has done his chance of a rare start the world of good by also playing a starring role from the bench against Dortmund at the weekend, and after an underwhelming display from Leroy Sane last week, Kompany could be tempted to look elsewhere in his squad.

Bayern Munich possible starting lineup:
Urbig; Laimer, Dier, Kim, Stanisic; Kimmich, Goretzka; Olise, Guerreiro, Sane; Kane
