AFC Bournemouth vs Fulham final injury update as 6 ruled out and 1 doubt

All the final injury news surrounding Fulham and Bournemouth as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.

Fulham return to action on Sunday when they face Bournemouth in what should be a very evenly contested game between two teams who are separated by just three points as things stand. The Cottagers could be on course for a European spot, currently in eighth place, which could yet be a Conference League place if England gets an extra Champions League place this season.

But with the standings so close, Marco Silva’s men are going to need to remain consistent to get the job done. Silva said ahead of this one: “It’s not a question of dreaming. We are not here to dream, we are here to look for the reality. If you have a chance to fight for something, you are going to fight.

“Dreaming can be for our fans because of the love they have for the football club. We are in a position that allows us to fight, we have a reason to fight, and we are going to do it. We are in a position to fight, whether you achieve it or not is another thing, but we are able to fight for something that is important to the club to achieve. We are not going to hide; we are going to fight.”

Ahead of another big game for the Cottagers, we have rounded up the final injury news surrounding both teams after the pre-match press conferences.

Enes Unal – Out
Unal is going to be out until the autumn after rupturing his ACL. A statement confirmed at the time: “He will undergo surgery to repair the ligament in the coming days, and the club’s medical and performance staff will support him in every way possible throughout.”

Luis Sinisterra – Doubt
Iraola said ahead of this one: “Probably from the three, Sini is the one who has less chance to arrive. We have to be careful with him but we will try. We still have three days but that’s our situation right now.”

Marcus Tavernier – Out
The same update as above applies.

Justin Kuivert – Out
Iraola was also speaking about Kluivert in the above update.

Ryan Christie – Out
Speaking ahead of this one, Iraola confirmed that Christie is out for the season. He said: “Ryan Christie is out for the season. He needed surgery and I think he has been pushing through pain all season. Now was the moment where his body told him ‘it’s enough, you cannot keep playing’. Now our aim is to recover well with him and have him ready to start pre-season well with the others. He is definitely not going to be able to play this season.”

Reiss Nelson – Out
Nelson is out for the season after hamstring surgery. Silva has said: “He got surgery and could be out until the end of the season. I don’t want to give a timescale that is 100 per cent sure, but it could be out until the end of the season. It’s a big blow for us, definitely. He was really unlucky.”

Harry Wilson – Out
Silva said of Wilson’s surgery initially: “He got the surgery last Monday. Everything went well; now we have to step by step keep recovering him. It’s going to take a long time, probably the beginning of April.” Wilson returned to training this week, but this one will come too early for him.
