Leeds United are in dire need of a win as their grasp of Premier League promotion is slowly slipping away.
There has been plenty of questions surrounding how Farke will line up his side, but a Leeds hint suggests Solomon and Piroe will start, which might not please fans.
This is due to underwhelming performances recently, as the attacking duo haven’t been sharp enough for the run-in.
With this considered, Farke might choose to make changes, and a big decision could prove to be season-defining.
Daniel Farke tipped to start Patrick Bamford for Leeds United
With Piroe’s displays not up to the standard Leeds need at the moment, Farke will have to make some risky moves.
This could certainly be extremely risky, but the idea is that fans might want to see Patrick Bamford come into the frame.
Bamford briefly appeared in Leeds’ 1-1 draw with Luton, making it his first cameo since the start of January.
The striker’s last league start for the Whites came in last season’s 4-3 win vs Boro, and the fact he scored says it all.
Bamford has been tipped to come back into the frame, according to the Don’t Go To Bed Yet Podcast.
“He looked like a threat, and suddenly, you wonder whether he’s going to start starting him now,” Adam Pope said.
Simon Rix followed up by saying, “I don’t know whether we should pin our hopes on Bamford, but he would be an amazing story arc.”
Farke starting Bamford would send clear message to Leeds fans
It has seemed like in recent times, fans are beginning to lose patience with Farke’s stubbornness.
This comes after starting the same team, which continue to fail after one win in six as Farke wants Largie Ramazani to ‘step up’ even though fans want him playing.
Leeds fans want Solomon dropped, and the same goes for Piroe, which could open the door for Bamford.
Although it’s risky, a change shows intent from Farke as the Leeds boss will be the only one to blame if he doesn’t choose to make bold decisions.
