Leicester City could face a Man City side without Erling Haaland as injury update emerges
Leicester City may have been given a slight advantage for their game against Manchester City.
The Foxes travel to the Etihad Stadium, where Man City fans will protest, on Wednesday 2 April with Ruud van Nistelrooy in desperate need of a win.
As it stands, Leicester are nine points off safety with nine games to play but the deficit could be as large as 12 if Wolverhampton Wanderers beat West Ham United on Tuesday.
Despite their struggles this season, Man City are still on the hunt for a Champions League place and need all of their best players available to them. However, Erling Haaland may not be available.

Whilst Leicester had no game this weekend, Man City were in FA Cup action as they came from behind to beat AFC Bournemouth 2-1 and secure their place in the semi finals.
Haaland started and missed a penalty in the first half before making up for his error with an early second half strike.
The forward was then withdrawn at the hour mark after picking up an injury and at first, it seemed it would be precautionary, however, footage on social media has shown the Norwegian leaving the Vitality Stadium in a protective boot.
Pep Guardiola refused to put a time frame on how long the forward could be out for after the game, saying: “I don’t know yet.
“I saw him on the massage table but I didn’t speak with him or the doctors. We will have to see.”
Leicester City team news ahead of Man City trip
After a successful international break for Leicester’s players, Van Nistelrooy will be even happier to know that he has no new injury concerns.
Abdul Fatawu is continuing his recovery from a long-term setback, with Fatawu himself stating he won’t be fit until next season.
Ricardo Pereira should also be fit after missing the game against Manchester United and given the extra time in-between games, all of the Foxes’ first team stars should be ready to play.
