What Barry Ferguson said in the Rangers dressing room at half-time vs Dundee
At the half, the Ibrox team was behind 2-1.
Tony Docherty’s team was ahead thanks to goals from Simon Murray and Joe Shaughnessy,
but the latter cut the lead in half by slicing the ball into his own net near the end of the first half.

Dessers claims that despite Rangers’ deficit, interim manager Ferguson’s message at halftime was entirely upbeat:
“I think all of you can imagine something about what happened at halftime,” the striker stated.
But in my opinion, there’s always a right time and place to do it, and this was unquestionably the latter.
“But he ended up saying like, ‘Hey, guys, we’re still in the game, and there’s still 45 minutes to play’, and like I said,
we show a lot of character, but it would be nice if we can also win these games more comfortably instead of having to fight and keep believing until the last minute.” r.
After halftime, the Rangers fell behind 3-1, but they came back to win 4-3.
Dessers had several chances to score, making it an especially exciting evening.
During the game, the Nigerian forward made a solid dozen attempts on goal.
When he skilfully controlled a ball from over the top and dinked it past Trevor Carson in the final seconds, it didn’t seem like things were going his way.
“I know that that I’m going to create chances, and I’m going to get chances,” he added.
“Then it’s just like keep your head into the game, be ready for the next one and on Saturday it fell and I couldn’t be more happy.”
